Description: Witness the awe-inspiring journey of the Tepeztate agave, a remarkable plant that spends 20-25 years thriving in the wild before it is carefully harvested. Nature's craftsmanship culminates in a plant of colossal proportions, reaching a size comparable to a VW Bug or a Mini Cooper. Thriving in high elevations, the Tepeztate defies gravity by emerging from sheer rock walls and cliff faces, providing shelter to smaller agave varieties like Tobalá. Its majestic presence is characterized by enormous leaves (pencas) that gracefully sprawl outward, adorned with vibrant red teeth that outline a tender and textured flesh. Undeniably, the Tepeztate agave showcases unparalleled consistency when it comes to distillation, making it a true gem among its agave counterparts.
The flavor profile of La Medida Tepeztate is a testament to the agave's exceptional qualities. Each sip unveils a symphony of flavors, including hints of green bananas, delicate flowers, vibrant bell peppers, zesty Sichuan peppercorns, and the refreshing essence of underripe melon rinds. This exquisite spirit not only sets a benchmark for Tepeztate agave expressions but also electrifies the senses with its unique and captivating character.
La Medida Tepeztate is a tribute to the mastery of nature and the artistry of distillation. With every pour, you embark on a remarkable journey, where the magnificence of the Tepeztate agave is unleashed in its purest form. Prepare to be captivated by the vibrant flavors, the textured palate, and the unforgettable experience that La Medida Tepeztate offers.
