Gibson L-00 Century 12 Fret Acoustic Guitar - Vintage Amber｜ Other Products

The Gibson L-00 Century 12-Fret Acoustic Guitar in Vintage Amber is a modern revival of one of Gibson’s most iconic small-body acoustics, now available at Sky Music Australia. Part of the Century Collection celebrating 100 Years of Gibson flat-tops, this model captures the intimate voice and vintage charm of the classic L-00 while introducing a 12-fret design that enhances resonance, comfort, and tonal depth.
Originally introduced in the 1930s, the L-00 earned a reputation for its balanced, expressive tone and compact parlor-style feel. This Century edition elevates that legacy with a Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides, delivering warmth, clarity, and dynamic response ideal for fingerstyle and light strumming. The 12-fret neck joint shifts the bridge position into a more resonant area of the soundboard, producing greater natural projection and a more open, musical voice. A SlimTaper 12-fret mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard provide a smooth, vintage-inspired playing feel, while traditional construction details ensure authentic Gibson character throughout.
