Humano's Añejo rests a full 12 months in a double-barrel process — new American oak and bourbon barrels — master blended afterward for a deeper, more complex character than the Reposado. It earned a genuine national accolade: Wine Enthusiast included it in their "Best Tequilas of 2025" roundup, blind-tasted by spirits writer Kara Newman, who described a burnished gold color with a zesty aroma and a bold palate mingling savory spice against agave sweetness. She found a long, complex vanilla finish layered with golden raisin, ancho pepper, and cardamom, with a faintly sooty exhale, noting the striking presentation in a hefty, deep-blue ceramic decanter. Other tasters describe a similarly rich profile: white oak, vanilla, caramel, cinnamon, and berry notes building into a long-lasting finish. Bottled at 40% ABV. This is Humano's most refined, complex expression, built for slow, neat sipping rather than mixing — a genuine standout in a lineup that's earned real recognition just a year after launching in the US.
