A New Perspective｜ Electronic Accessories ｜Grado SR60 Classic Series Headphones

The First Step Into GradoFor more than three decades the SR60 has introduced listeners to the world of open-back headphones. Simple, honest, and engaging, it remains the most direct path into the Grado lineup.
For many music lovers — including reviewers, engineers, and founders of companies now shaping the headphone industry — the SR60 was where the journey began.
At a time when many headphones rely on closed designs and digital processing, the SR60 continues to offer something increasingly rare: a straightforward open-back listening experience from a long-established manufacturer at an approachable price.
44mm X2 Dynamic DriverAt the center of the SR60 is Grado’s 44mm X2 dynamic driver, built around a Mylar diaphragm, copper voice coil, and rare earth magnetic system engineered for efficiency and control.
The tuning favors balance and musicality, delivering clear midrange, natural detail, and an inviting presentation designed for long listening sessions.
Standard Headband AssemblyThe SR60 uses Grado’s standard headband assembly, paired with a padded synthetic headstrap.
At the core of the design is Grado’s steel spring band, allowing listeners to easily adjust the inward pressure of the headphones for a personalized and comfortable fit.
Bronze CableThe SR60 is supplied with Grado’s Bronze cable in a fixed configuration, balancing durability with dependable signal performance.
S CushionsThe SR60 ships standard with Grado S cushions, contributing to a smooth and relaxed presentation.
Grado cushions also act as a tuning element, allowing listeners to personalize their headphones by experimenting with different cushion styles to subtly adjust tonal balance and presentation.
Molded HousingThe SR60 utilizes a lightweight die-injection molded housing that provides durability while keeping the headphone comfortable and easy to wear.
The open-back architecture allows music to breathe naturally, producing the spacious presentation that defines the Grado listening experience.
