Upgraded Version｜Takao Ogawa: The Definitive Guide To The Blue Note 1500 Series Book｜ Books

"The origin of modern jazz is here! Takao Ogawa, a complete collector, talks carefully about the ultimate lineup of the most important label. Includes QR codes to listen to all 99 records, 147 artists, and 649 songs! Among the many jazz labels, Blue Note is popular for its rich lineup and high quality. This reflects the skill of its president, Alfred Lion, who loved jazz and respected musicians. The 1500 series of 12-inch LPs contains many masterpieces, and the albums, including adventurous works, function as an entry point to jazz while continuing to be listened to by enthusiasts. Music journalist Ogawa Takao, who knows these 99 albums (one is missing), provides a complete explanation of the background of the albums, what to listen for, the participating members, the songs, etc." - Shinko Music
