A New Perspective｜ Other Products ｜2 Gingers Blended Irish Whiskey

2 Gingers Blended Irish Whiskey was created by Kieran Folliard, the Irish-born Minneapolis pub owner who named it after the two red-headed women who raised him, his mother and his aunt. It is distilled at the Kilbeggan Distillery in County Westmeath and bottled at 80 proof as a blend of malt and grain whiskeys. It pours warm gold with honey, vanilla and a little citrus on the nose. The palate is sweet and malty with light fruit and a touch of spice, and the finish is smooth and short. Folliard built the brand around the Big Ginger, a tall pour over ice topped with ginger ale and a squeeze of lemon and lime, and that is still the best way to drink it. It also works in an Irish coffee or as an easy shot. This 750ml bottle is one of the best-value Irish whiskeys on our shelf.
