Port Askaig 110 Proof Cask Strength Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky｜ Other Products

Port Askaig 110 Proof is the full-strength expression of the cult Islay range from independent bottler Elixir Distillers, named for the ferry port on the island's northeast coast and drawn from an undisclosed distillery that whisky lovers have long identified as the big peated malt made just up the road. Bottled at 110 proof (55% ABV) for the American market, non-chill-filtered and naturally colored, it was built to deliver Islay at its most powerful. The nose is a bold blend of briny sea air, smoldering bonfire, orchard fruit and an alluring sweetness with caramel-glazed bacon and orange zest, then a velvety, oily palate of intense peat smoke, ripe fruit, malt sweetness, smoked paprika, black pepper and dark chocolate, finishing long with ash, oak, licorice and Islay's maritime character. Words of Whisky scored the cask-strength Port Askaig 8.7 out of 10. A fiery yet harmonious dram that Islay enthusiasts adore, and a top-value high-proof peater.Buy Port Askaig 110 Proof Cask Strength Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky online with fast shipping right to your door.
