Extra vigor, earlier flowers, and a longer bloom season make Papaver ‘Orange Chiffon’ one of the most hard-working large-flowered breadseed poppies we know. This gorgeous annual poppy produces silky, chiffon-like blooms in glowing orange, bringing instant romance and painterly color to spring gardens, cottage borders, cutting gardens, and meadow-style plantings.

Also known as Orange Chiffon Poppy, this variety forms a wider, sturdier base with lower leaves that stay attractive while supporting more blooming stems. The flowers look fabulous drifting through bachelor buttons, corn cockle, larkspur, nigella, grasses, and soft blue or white companions. After flowering, the decorative seed pods add beautiful structure and can be used in dried arrangements.

Plant Papaver ‘Orange Chiffon’ in full sun with well-drained soil, and allow plants to reseed if you want future poppy surprises. Easy, luminous, and generous, this is a poppy with serious garden stamina and a soft satin finish. Explore more showy favorites in our Papaver - Poppies collection.
