Curated for Your List｜Royal Albert Old Country Roses 3 Piece Set - Rose｜ Food & Beverages

The Harold Holdcroft inspired Old Country Roses was launched in 1962. The Royal Albert Art Director based his design on the 1921 King’s Ransom pattern. The design was a result of a years work by Harold Holdcroft who said, “We decided to incorporate all the ingredients we new would be acceptable, richness of colour, softness of colour, good quality and a good value look”.
All these elements are incorporated in the pattern. It has lush deep red roses, warmth from the tea roses, delicacy from the bluish pink and an overall softening off of the pattern by using a soft shade of green. The rich gold stipple trim gives the sprays continuity and the china good value for money. Enhanced by the elegant traditional Royal Albert Montrose shape with its attractive scalloped edges and twisted and curled detailed handles. Old Country Roses is the worlds best selling bone china pattern with more than 150 million pieces having being sold since its introduction in 1962.
Add a modern pop of fresh colour to your Old Country Roses set with the Colour Accents range. Colours taken from within the Old Country Roses pattern allow this range to seamlessly blend in, whilst standing out in their own right.
