Van Winkle Family Reserve 13 Year Rye Whiskey 2024 is the fall 2024 release of the only rye in the Van Winkle lineup, produced with Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky and released in quantities so limited that it is allocated bottle by bottle. Thirteen years makes it one of the oldest ryes sold anywhere, and it is bottled at 95.6 proof. The Van Winkle family describes delicate aromas of chestnut, spice, vanilla and fruit on the nose, flavors of cocoa, vanilla, spice and white pepper on the palate, and a long, warm, complex finish blending caramel, spice and dry oak. Breaking Bourbon gave the Family Reserve Rye a perfect 5 out of 5, calling it delicious and memorable and among the finest ryes available, praising a balance where you can taste the age without it being overdone. Unlike the peppery Indiana style, this is a soft, rounded, dessert-like rye that drinks closer to an old bourbon. Each year's release is a collector's event, and the 2024 vintage is no exception.Buy Van Winkle Family Reserve 13 Year Rye Whiskey 2024 online with fast shipping right to your door.
