Planteray Mister Fogg Navy Rum Sail No. 2 is one of the most adventurous and thoughtfully crafted rums released in recent years — a bottle built around the romance and history of naval rum tradition. The blend draws from five distilleries across three continents: Trinidad Distillers, West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados, Diamond Distillery in Guyana, St Aubin Distillery in Mauritius, and a blend of Clarendon, Long Pond, and Hampden from Jamaica. After tropical aging in bourbon barrels in their countries of origin, the rums are transported to southwest France for dynamic aging in open wooden vats near the river L'Antenne — an environment deliberately chosen to replicate the humid conditions of the historic London docks. Bottled at 55.7% ABV, the result is extraordinary. The nose opens with vanilla, cherrywood, blueberry pie, cinnamon bun, banana pudding, and sugared berries, while the palate delivers caramelized banana, Demerara sugar, grilled pineapple, baking spice, clove, and nutmeg building to rich oak and dark chocolate. Drinkhacker awarded it an A grade calling it one of the best bargains in the rum world. Buy Planteray Mister Fogg Navy Rum Sail No. 2 online with fast shipping right to your door.
