Intraknit Technology: Seamless construction with strategically mapped zones of varying fabric weight — targeted warmth and ventilation where your body needs it most.

Alpine Weight: Heavier merino weight engineered for serious mountain conditions — more warmth than standard thermal for the coldest days on the mountain.

1/4 Zip Design: On-the-go temperature regulation — crack the zip to vent during high-output activity, zip up when conditions demand full warmth.

Seamless Construction: No seams means no chafing — next-to-skin comfort that standard cut-and-sew base layers can’t match.

Brand Sample Provenance: Never sold at retail — a true brand sample in new condition, offering exceptional value at less than half of retail.
For the serious mountain athlete who demands the most capable base layer in Smartwool's lineup, the Intraknit Alpine 1/4 Zip is the answer. This Teal M at $74.99 vs. $155 retail is an exceptional find.
