Daily Lineup｜ Other Products ｜VOCU VTE-1600 Compact Tape Echo (Fernandes/Hiwatt).

Rare slim-line Japanese tape delay that will fit on your pedalboard, similar to the Hiwatt tape echo.
For sale in excellent condition - one of the best we've seen - serviced by our tech & working well (possibly barely used). Complete with original Japanese manual.
Requires a 15v power supply (not included).
Vocu stands for Vivid Output and Capable Unit - catchy! Cool and compact little tape delay - perfect for a (large) pedalboard). Sounds good and works well - uses the same loops as the Roland Space echo range - a full-featured tape echo that's a little larger than a paperback book. Instagram demo with our SH-7 below.
Will accept mic, instrument or line level inputs, has three delay modes - 150-600ms, 500-1600ms and a combination of both short and long heads. Has mix/wet-only switch (Cue/Mix Direct) for use as an effects send, controls for Master Level, Echo Time, Repeat and Echo Level as well as Input Level. The Flutter control engages an off-centre plastic wheel against the pinch roller to introduce extra warble and sense of a machine less well-maintained (the lever will rest at the mid point giving a sensible level of flutter, or can be pushed harder against the pinch roller for momentary bouts of extra warbliness).
POWER: It takes a 15v centre positive power supply (not included - enquire, we may have something suitable).
CONDITION: excellent with only minor signs of use/age.
For sales in UK/EU the price will include VAT. VAT-free sales are possible to businesses and individuals in the EU (outside the UK) with a valid VAT Number - please get in touch if you wish to buy this way.
This first demo is for the machine for sale, before servicing:

Something for the weekend, sir? Our Elka Drummer One (definitely not for sale) into a near mint Vocu VTE compact tape echo (looks barely used, but will still get a full service before shipping). With apologies to those who feel we feature too many drum machines into tape echoes... Have a great weekend everyone.
