Exclusive Drop｜Nikon NIKKOR Z 35mm f/1.4 Lens｜ Other Products

A storyteller's walkaround lens.
A wide angle of view with even wider uses in photography and video work. A large f/1.4 aperture that cuts through low light and creates dramatic shallow depth of field. Consistent image quality up close or at a distance, wide open or stopped down. All in a comfortable, lightweight design.

See the whole picture.
Wide enough for landscapes and interiors, environmental portraits and street shots, the 35mm angle of view evokes our natural eyesight, putting your viewer in the moment. This lens has a 52mm equivalent field of view on an APS-C size/DX-format camera.

Versatile f/1.4 aperture.
Beautifully blurred backgrounds and edge-to-edge clarity. Dial-in the depth and sharpness simply by adjusting the aperture setting.

A closeness you can feel.
Get close to your subject and open the aperture. Focus is drawn to the eyes, while the surrounding elements softly fade into a dreamy blur.

Painterly bokeh.
Background objects can be transformed into compositional elements; points of light into smooth, soft circles.

Low-light freedom.
Create in whatever light is available. Capture more detail at lower ISO settings and use faster shutter speeds to prevent motion blur.

A workhorse for video.
Lightweight and optimally balanced, the NIKKOR Z 35mm f/1.4 lens is ideal for gimbals and cages. Its versatile angle of view can cover everything from tight closeups to wide establishing shots.

Suppressed focus breathing.
Maintain a consistent angle of view as you pull focus or track a moving subject.

Fast, silent autofocus.
Capture pristine audio without the distraction of operational noises, thanks to the STM lens drive.

Clickless control ring.
Smoothly and precisely adjust your aperture setting or ISO sensitivity while recording.

Close working distance.
Fill your frame, reveal the fine details and textures or comfortably record video in tight spaces. Get as close as 10.6 inches from your subject.

Technology
Aspherical Lens
A lens with a curved, non-spherical surface. Used to reduce aberrations and enable a more compact lens size. Aspherical lenses minimize coma and other types of lens aberrations, even when used at the widest aperture. They are particularly useful in correcting distortion in wide-angle lenses and help contribute to a lighter, more compact design by reducing the number of standard (spherical) elements necessary. Aspherical lens elements correct these distortions by continuously changing the refractive index from the center of the lens

Stepping Motor
NIKKOR Z lenses use a stepping motor for fast, accurate, smooth, quiet autofocus with reduced wobbling. This quiet drive system makes the lenses ideal for use when shooting video.

A NIKKOR lens in which only the internal lens group shifts during focusing. Thus, IF NIKKORS do not change in size during AF operation, allowing for compact, lightweight lenses capable of closer focusing distances. These lenses will be designated with the abbreviation IF on the lens barrel.

Electromagnetic Diaphragm Mechanism
An electromagnetic diaphragm mechanism in the lens barrel provides highly accurate electronic diaphragm or aperture blade control when using auto exposure during continuous shooting.
