GlenAllachie 15 Year Old is the sherry-lover's pick in the core range from master distiller Billy Walker, the industry legend who revived BenRiach and GlenDronach before buying GlenAllachie, built near Aberlour in 1967, from Chivas Brothers in 2017. It is matured exclusively in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, the wood Walker is most famous for.Bottled at 92 proof, non-chill-filtered and naturally colored, the 15 pours deep mahogany and offers baking spice, orange peel and rye bread on the nose, then a rich, mouth-coating palate of brown butter, dark chocolate, raisin, fig and black pepper, finishing long with cocoa powder and sherried oak. Drinkhacker graded it a B+ and praised its spice-driven depth. For fans of GlenDronach 15 or Aberlour A'bunadh looking for their next bottle, this is a natural step.Buy GlenAllachie 15 Year Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky online with fast shipping right to your door.
