Maya à La Poupée｜ Books

Olympia Le-Tan’s Picasso x Simon de Pury collection transforms iconic Picasso artworks into intricate embroidered pieces. Maya à la poupée, painted in 1938, is a vibrant portrait of Picasso’s daughter Maya, depicted with bold colors and dynamic forms. Through this work, the artist conveys the tenderness and spontaneity of childhood in a style that is both playful and deeply moving. Reimagined in embroidery, this interpretation celebrates the energy and affection that radiate from the original painting.
