Other Products ｜Eastman - EAS453V - Unlacquered Vintage Alto Saxophone

Classy looking vintage-inspired sax, and at an affordable price!
Known for their warm and full-bodied-sounding professional instruments, Eastman also delivers excellence in the intermediate saxophone area.  The EAS453V is regarded as a high-level intermediate sax, boasting a very even and warm tone quality in all ranges, along with excellent intonation.  It competes with some other well-known brands at this price point.  But why go for a boring gold lacquer finish when you can get one of these?!
To round off the package, Eastman now includes a high-quality student mouthpiece (Protégé), Legere Signature reed and Rovner ligature.
As a manufacturer, Eastman now has a reputation as being one of the most recognised and acclaimed brands in the woodwind and brass industry.
Top-Down design
An important point to note here is that Eastman build their intermediate instruments based on the top-level design aspects of their professional models; this means we have the same bore design and key layout in the EAS453 model as we do the flagship 52nd Street design.  This allows the sax to deliver top-tier intonation and tonal quality worthy of professional saxophones.

 Staff Review

This alto is very representative of the Eastman sound that we know from their 52nd Street models, full-bodied and well-defined, but at a fraction of the cost in this intermediate model. The response is fantastic and the key work is solid and well-positioned. For the price, this horn represents real value for money! And we're not supposed to be bothered by looks....but deep down we are!  All the staff love these models here at SAX.  Jim - SAX
