Key features

Size: 8cm x 8.3cm (near-square for balanced placement)

Construction: Embroidered design for texture and durability

Backing: Hook side Velcro backing (attaches to loop panels)

Which size fits a tactical backpack panel best?
Most tactical backpack Velcro fields are sized to take patches roughly in the 7 to 10cm range for a clean, centred look without overhanging edges. This 9 tailed fox patch measures 8 x 8.3cm, which makes it a strong fit for:

Small to medium front panels found on many EDC and tactical backpacks

Top lid and admin panel Velcro fields where a compact square patch looks proportionate

Patch walls and organisers where you want clear visibility without taking up a large footprint

Fit tip: If your backpack has a smaller Velcro field, measure the loop area first. You will want at least 8cm of usable width and height to avoid the patch sitting on seams or curved edges.

How to mount it

Ensure your bag has a loop Velcro panel (the soft side).
Align the patch at the centre of the panel.
Press firmly across the surface to seat the hooks evenly.

FAQ

Does this patch include the loop panel? It comes with hook side Velcro backing for attachment to an existing loop panel. If your bag does not have a loop field, you will need a compatible loop surface or adapter panel.

Will it fit my backpack? If your loop panel is at least 8cm x 8.3cm of flat usable area, it will fit well. For smaller or curved panels, the edges may sit unevenly.

Is it suitable for uniforms? It is designed for hook-and-loop fields on gear. For uniform wear, follow your unit or organisation’s patch and insignia guidelines.

Note: Colour and stitch detail may appear slightly different depending on lighting and screen settings.
